project description
The PRO-MOTE project seeks to enhance solidarity and democratic engagement in EU communities by boosting employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for migrants and refugees. It encourages citizen and representative association participation in the democratic process, focusing on labour market integration for these groups.
The project involves 6 organisations from 5 EU countries experienced in research, policy, direct work with migrants, and creative business support.
goals

- Facilitating the development of inclusive policies and frameworks for migrant employment and entrepreneurship by bringing migrants, experts, and decision-makers together to co-design actionable conclusions and policy recommendations.
- Promoting the integration of migrants into the EU labour market by creating and publishing permanent resources, including the online platform Citizens Solidarity Lab, containing challenges, good practices, success stories, policy recommendations, training manuals and solidarity initiatives.
- Improving job opportunities for migrants and refugees in 5 partner countries by promoting solidarity initiatives, skills development, job fairs and the development of an online database on job opportunities.
