project description
CREDEX, funded by the Erasmus+ programme under the ERASMUS-EDU-2024-POL-EXP-MICRO-CRED topic, driven by policy experimentation, CREDEX aims to co-design an effective model for the establishment, assessment, and improvement of micro-credentials (MC) frameworks for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). This 36-month project brings together public authorities, policy makers, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers, and CCI support organisations and businesses.
CREDEX will work to identify best practices and address existing gaps in local MC ecosystems across the EU and beyond. It will facilitate the establishment and applicability of MC frameworks for CCIs, and incentivise their mutual recognition among Member States and regions.
The project also seeks to foster policy discussion to ensure MCs are relevant for employability and lifelong learning within CCIs. Its results are intended to contribute to the 2030 targets of the EU Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan and the European Skills Agenda, building on synergies with initiatives such as the Creative Pact for Skills (CP4S) Large-Scale Partnership (LSP), the CYANOTYPES project, and the SACCORD project.
