Creative Skills Week 2025: Create. Transform. Regenerate.
From September 22–25, Prague, Creative Skills Week 2025 brought together creatives, educators, and changemakers to explore the future of skills in cultural and creative industries. Panels, workshops, and discussions focused on micro-credentials, green competencies, and collaborative learning to build adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable creative ecosystems. Materahub played a key role in facilitating workshops and panels, showcasing local and European initiatives.

Metamap Among the Top 8 Creative Startups Worldwide
Valentino Vitale, CTO of Italy VR Experience, represented Italy at the Creative Business Cup 2025 in Copenhagen with Metamap, a “phygital” map blending paper, NFC, QR codes, VR tours, and gamification. The project reached the global top 8, praised for creativity, scalability, and cross-sector potential. The CBC experience offered intense networking, learning, and inspiration. Italy VR Experience now plans to expand Metamap, including international collaborations.

Craftwork4All: Join CraftLab Workshops
CraftLab workshops continue at Materahub with free hands-on sessions as part of the European project Craftwork4.0All. From creative weaving with local wool (Oct 27), urban texture printing (Oct 30 & Nov 6), to textile upcycling (Nov 13 & 20), each workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn, create, and connect with artisans. Limited spots available.

YONDERS – Empowering Young Cultural Entrepreneurs
YONDERS (YOuNg Disruptive EntRepreneurS) is a professional development programme that equips young people with the skills, tools, and networks to launch impactful projects in the cultural and creative sectors.
It offers two learning paths:
Path 1 – Cultural Entrepreneurship Exploration (15–18 years old)
Explore creative passions, develop foundational entrepreneurial skills, and learn to make a positive impact in the community through self-paced modules.
Path 2 – Developing and Launching Creative Ventures (19–24 years old)
Build sustainable business models, launch creative ventures, and expand professional networks with modules on strategy, funding, leadership, and social impact.
Both paths are fully asynchronous, with interactive digital resources and structured guidance for self-paced learning.

E-ART: Co-Creating a Sustainable Future at ECOARTLAB
Materahub organized EcoArtLab at SpazioY, a series of workshops on sustainable art for young people, artists, and the Quadraro community in Rome. Guided by Giulia Apice and Veronica Neri, participants explored reuse, eco-printing, and textile transformation, culminating in a 7 x 6 m collective artwork.
The initiative fostered community bonds, intercultural dialogue, and environmental awareness.
GreenCCircle: Inside a Local Living Lab
Join 3 co-creation workshops designed to turn ideas into practical action for the cultural and creative industries. Expect expert-led sessions, hands-on testing of sustainability tools, networking with peers, and creative brainstorming for greener futures.
Local Living Labs are all about learning by doing—developing skills and solutions that make a real impact.
Entrepreneurship4All Autumn School: From 6 October
Join the Entrepreneurship4All Autumn School, a 3-week hands-on experience blending self-paced learning, live sessions, and real feedback. Choose your pathway, develop practical entrepreneurial skills, and connect with a global community of learners.
