The message was clear: circularity isn’t just about reducing waste, but about rethinking how culture can lead the green transition.

The Ventotene Manifesto: Reflecting on Europe’s Foundations

During this year’s Settimana dell’Europa, Materahub placed the Ventotene Manifesto at the centre of reflection, highlighting its relevance in a time of division and uncertainty. Written in 1941, the Manifesto proposed a united and peaceful Europe—principles that remain important. By engaging younger generations, the aim was to encourage dialogue on Europe’s past, present, and future.

Strategic Dialogue on European Creative Economy and Cultural Autonomy

On 3–4 June 2025, Brussels will host #SDECE25, a two-day programme dedicated to shaping the future of Europe’s creative economy. Organised by ECBN and CreativeFED, the event brings together policymakers, cultural organisations, and project leaders to explore strategic themes such as cultural autonomy, sustainability, and innovation.

Day 1 focuses on project-based dialogue and policy recommendations. Day 2 opens the floor to broader exchange with stakeholders from across Europe.
