European Future Citizens is a two-years Erasmus+ project that, from 2023 to 2025, will encourage young European citizens to develop smarter cities, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, challenge-based engagement of local communities with a gamified approach.
The young people involved will solve local challenges to make their cities more digital and sustainable.
goals
European Future Citizens project is moving from the needs to “build” future citizens profiles by taking into consideration the key competences presented in EC frameworks and applying them through challenge based learning approaches, product and service ideation and design methodologies and “take over” actions for the young people to become the future citizens of Europe able to:
- give visibility to local challenges (awareness);
- understanding the skills gaps to solve those challenges;
- develop new skills to think about solutions;
- develop practical models to design and test activities to solve problems at community level;
- activate and engage local community public and policy actor.
